Hi,
Have you actually installed OpenOffice or have you simply been
running it from the disk image?
You must drag the application into your 'Applications' folder.

I don't understand what's happening...
If you have downloaded and installed OpenOffice.org (and X11) on
your Mac,
they can't disappear unless you delete them yourself.
Please try to explain what you did, and reread the download and
install
instructions on http://porting.openoffice.org/mac.
