Someone else mentioned the Quickstarter; that's worth checking.

Someone else asked if you used Add/Remove Software; That's the standard way
of doing things in Windows (I assume you are using Windows since you mention
the "C Drive".

Even after properly removing the *software*, your *documents* will still be
there; Add/Remove Software removes software and configuration files; not
your own personal data. You will have to delete those files separately.
