I am trying to promote OOo and will be giving a presentation to our computer
club in May and need to have all the ammo I can find to overcome objections
such as the compatibility issues when trying to open files in other formats.

I get the Atlanta Journal Constitution paper on Sunday and there is a
columnist named Bill Husted who writes a popular computer user column. Last
Sunday he was outlining some free software that is available and when he talked
about free office software he stated that he wished he could recommend free
software for office software but he felt that, even though he gave the Open
Office web address, you should stick with the brand name software. Some body
knowledgeable should have a talk with him.
