The problem is that people who send you a CD with OpenOffice may charge
you for the CD and for the work they did burning the CD. The most
advisable thing to do is probably to download the program from the Web,
if you have ADSL.

I just recently visited a web site where Open Office is being offered for sale
in the amount of $11.95. This seems rather strange to me, especially when it
may be downloaded from the Open Office web site for free. I have been using
Open Office for nearly two years, and this is the first time my seeing it being
sold on the internet. The web site also appears being tied in to the Sun web
site, and using the Googles web site for payments. It just appears very
strange that your free product is being sold by some persons, and it is my
first time to learn of it.
