Hello Dan with a cc to Alice
19 March 2007

Thank you for the quick response to my question.

I have been very pleased with Open Office (Word) and the quick conversion of
documents to Adobe. As I rebuild my files (backed up) from a major system
crash I would like to stay with OO instead of re-purchasing the Microsoft
software. I operate a small consulting business and fine OO meets most of my
needs.

MS-Excel is still better than the OO spreadsheet and I have not used the OO
PowerPoint yet.

Since both of you asked the same question, I am sending the
answer to both of you at the same time.
OpenOffice.org version 2.1 will run on Vista as well as earlier
versions of windows. There are a few cosmetic problems which should
be solved when version 2.2 comes out in the near future.

Dan
