When I save my text in the odt file by OO, the content are stored in
the content.xml file which uses UTF-8 encoding. I wonder if there is a
way to use other encoding than UTF-8, for example gbk?
I am using OO 2.0 under windows.
Since the file format behind .odt files is an ISO standard, you'd have
to check the ISO documents as to whether another encoding format can
be used. This page explains alot more about the format :

Huh ?? Defender doesn't stop spyware (Webroot) ; firewall is only 50%
effective (Zdnet) ; UAC can be turned off and is annoying ; SP1 (incl
security reasons) due end of 2007...
