OpenOffice can read MS Office documents, and your OO documents can be
saved in MS Office format. But if the documents use complex features as
tables, be prepared to the fact that sometimes the conversion will not
be perfect. I do not know MS Access, so I hope someone else will inform
you for that part.

what I need to know is does Open Office both read and write ms office. If it
