File > Wizards > Install new dictionaries. Have it download the
Australian dictionary and thesaurus and install them.
If you are using a version of Windows, close the Quickstarter
program in the System tray. (It is a blue and gray background with
bird silhouettes on it.)
Use Tools > Options > Language settings > Languages to find your
default language. Change it to English(Australia). Click Ok. Close
OpenOffice.org. When you restart OOo, recheck this setting to make
sure it is correct.
