My question is: could we utilize your software to teach individuals
basic computer skills? These classes would be to simply provide
computer skills and giving individuals the ability to provide for
their family. Those individuals in Mexico that would like to attend
the class only need the desire to learn. There are no religious or
political requirements or considerations to attend the class.

If you look into some of the sites that talk about Open Office, you will
find that OOo is now being used in many countries as the "default" standard for and Office Suite. Many schools and universities are also
switching to OOo for their classes. Microsoft's software is a real system
hog and is getting too big for the common user to use or to upgrade to.
As others have said Linux may be the way to go. You can setup your
Linux desktop to have the appearance of MS's desktop and can run
most of Windows software on Linux with WINE (if you cannot find a
Linux version). Also many older version of Linux work great with
PC's CPU as low as a PII 450 MHz. Newer version need at least
a P4 700MHz for their graphics in the user interface desktop.

I wish you well. I am considering doing the same for the people in
my area in NY state - mostly older people who need to have computer
skills. My father calls me often with simple question about how can
he do such and such or fix such and such. I think many of the people
reading these messages on this user group could help their neighbors
in the use of computers.
