You then saved it in Word .doc format and emailed it to yourself or used the "File -> Send -> Email As MS Word" option. You then try to open the emailed copy. Are you trying to open the emailed copy with OOo Writer or some other program? What happens if you close OOo Writer and then try to open the emailed copy? Can you please explain what registration info it is you need? This does not make sense, because there is no "registration" (in the usual M$ sense) for OOo. Would you by any chance be running Vista and coming up against the user authorisation garbage? Please try and give as much info as possible so that we get a clearer understanding of the problem, which helps us in trying to give you an accurate answer. Please reply to [email protected] only.
