If *you* send a message to the list via TB e-mail, the message arrives
in the e-mail *inbox* of *every* registered user of the list who uses
e-mail to read the list. Correct so far?

Except it does *not* happen.
The message does *not* end up in *every* e-mail user's inbox. How do I
know? Because it doesn't end up in *my* e-mail inbox.
Somewhere along the line I seemed to have missed your post in
news.mozilla.org/mozilla.support.thunderbird
regarding this issue. Perhaps you could try again?
