You can check your downloads with the md5sum procedure.  You will find the
md5sum on the following page, which also contains a link to a page
containing instructions for checking:
http://download.openoffice.org/2.2.0/md5sums.html

IIRC, that error message may relate to disruption by your anti-virus
application.  You could search the web or the openoffice.org domain for that
error number - you should at least find messages in this list's archives (
http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/SummarizeList?listName=users ).
