No download the other one.
The one with 'rc4' in it is a release candidate and although it is
probably identical given that they are the same size it may not be
stable or the final version etc

Thanks, you're right with the dictionaries - it has nothing to do with
it - and both are installed (but to see the differences, for
non-native speakers it might be like German spelling 'old', 'new' and
'brandnew' ...) ;-)
I'll take the Ooo_2.2.0rc4...langpack
(it's the same version as other language packs I have to install).
