Your antivirus or firewall program is probably intercepting the installation (they often do, unnecessarily). Try physically disconnecting from the internet, disabling the AV and firewall, then trying again to install from one of your disks. Enable the AV and firewall again and reconnect. Let us know if you still have a problem.

Subject: [users] after download problem

Hello,

 I downloaded OpenOffice.org 2, three times.

downloading was to a disk, three different R/W disks each time. each disk was formatted. downloading took about 9min each time. received a notice that downloading was successful.

after subjecting the disks to virus check which passed-and while installing OpenOffice.org the following message appears;

 NSIS ERROR
The installer you are trying to use is corrupt or incomplete. This could be a result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus. OK

 tried all tree disks on another computer with the same results.

 Operating systems are Wndows XP Pro.

 Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Any ideas??

 Dick Z
