Hi,
You must download the entire suite, and can then install only the
Impress part but I strongly recommend against it as you will lose
functionality; some parts of Impress reply on other parts of OpenOffice.
If you download the Windows version it will work just fine on your
system.
You can download it by going to www.openoffice.org and clicking on
'Get OpenOffice'
There are Installation Instructions there to help you through too.
Tom
PS download the US version which is the default one, it includes
British dictionaries.

Dear Sir
I would like to open a powerpoint document that has been sent to
me. I do
not have powerpoint but I have been told that your impress software is
compatible and that if I install this I will be able to open this
document
Before I proceed with any installations could you help me?
I am a basic user. I have Windows XP home edition version 2002.
AMD Athlon
64 processor 3400+ 2.40 GHz 448 MB of RAM. 114 GB with 98.5GB
free.
With this system can I use your software? Do I need to download
the entire
suite or can I just download the Impress = powerpoint programme.
Thank you for your help and assistance
