Hi,

If you want to uninstall OpenOffice you can do this in the same way you can uninstall any other Windows program, by going to your Control Panel and then to Add/Remove programs and selecting OpenOffice from the list. If you just want to make it so that when you double click on a Word file it opens in Word and not OpenOffice then find a Word file, right click on it, click open with and select Choose Program. From the list select Word and tick the box that says always use this program to open files of this type and click OK.

Hope this helps

Tom

PS this is a community project. We don't have various departments. I and all other people who man this list are volunteers offer out time to help other users with their problems.

I have installed your product for trial run but I could not run it from the file, though I asked not to be placed at default, it would not do it otherwise. I was given a free trial of Microsoft Office but I had no chance of using it as it was placed at default and trying yours, deactivated that program. I have been trying to uninstall your program from the default but it simply does not do so. I am pulling my hair with frustration so to speak, and as a result, I regret the minute that I placed it in for trial.

Your site, does not have uninstallation folder (??????)
I would have thought this would be easy to unistall but No!!

I have been sending emails to your various departments, to no avail.

Is there a site where I cal get some help with this? It is a dead end and I need to uninstall this thing ASAP

By the way, getting help for this, is a dead end, and I wasted the whole day.
