dWade, Check "Tools" -> "Options" -> "OpenOffice.org" -> "Paths"
Theses are some of the folders you'd need to customize the desktops. I'd do a test install as well. Sorry, I don't have the time to try that. Another folder of interest would be: <drive-letter>:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org2\user\template ... if you have any custom templates you need everybody to have. This is a rather quick and dirty answer, and I'm only a user, so this is "best guess". I use XP, and these are the folders most important to keeping my tool bars, etc. consistent from release to release. Great news that you've "sold" a 400 station shop on OpenOffice.org!
