Hi; I have created "Speech" Template for myself and saved it. It works fine, but when I first start OOWriter I get the default template. That is expected. When go to File ==> New ==>Templates ==> Speech rather than replacing the default template a whole new OOWriter frame is opened while the default remains open as well. Currently, I just close the unwanted 'default' and proceed to write my speech. But shouldn't a new template replace the 'default' template rather than open a new window?? I am using OOo 2.0.4 with FC6. I will be going to OOo Fedora 7 at the end of May.
I use the "From Template" item in the Quickstarter menu. This opens the Template dialog box, and I select the appropriate template, and work from there.
