Hello everybody.
I have dot (.) as decimal separator. Whenever I type "4.05" (without
quotes) Calc "helpfully" converts this to date.
I can not format cells as Text (or prefix number with apostrophe)
because I need to perform calculations on that data.
How do I stop Calc from being helpful?
Thanks a lot.
WBR,
K. Palagin.
P.S. In fact the problem is bigger than just typing - I am importing
text files where dot is used as decimal separator, so changing decimal
separator to comma would not solve the problem.
This doesn't help, but for what it's worth, I'm on OOo 2.2, Windows XP,
with a dot as decimal separator, and when I enter 4.05, it stays as
4.05, it does not get changed to a date.
If I enter 4-05, then it does get changed to 04/05/07 though.
