We are talking about older versions of software reading newer file
formats. Read the post CAREFULLY and get your bloody facts straight
before making accusations.

As someone already said, OpenOffice.org 1.1.5 can read ODF ("
OpenOffice.org v2 format"). However it can't save in that format, so you
have to pick another one, such as some OpenOffice.org 1.1.5 format (sxw,
sxc, sxi etc). I have tried this myself, before I finally switched to
OpenOffice.org 2.x, and it worked very well.
