-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
The only thing I have needed to do in those cases is to drag the older version (in the /Applications folder) to the Trash... If you have personal dictionaries or other modifications (not globally installed, but only for you) you may want to backup the directory: ~username/Library/Application\ Support/OpenOffice.org\ 2.0 and, possibly: ~username/.openoffice.org2/ so you can easily reinstall them. I hope this helps, Miguel En/na [EMAIL PROTECTED] ha escrit: > i want to upgrade to the latest x-11 version to run on OS X. to make > sure i do it right i took a quick look at the mini howto by eric b > (http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/Howto_OOo_2.0_MacOSX_english.pdf). > the instructions there contain information on how to remove an old > version of OOo 2.0 - but only for version 2.0.2 and above... i am still > running version 2.0 - does anyone have any idea what i need to do in > order to remove that version?? > > many thanks! > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > - -- Miguel Ortiz Lombardía Centro de Investigaciones Oncológicas C/ Melchor Fernández Almagro, 3 28029 Madrid, Spain Tel. +34 912 246 900 Fax. +34 912 246 976 e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Et ainsi ne pouvant faire que ce qui est juste fût fort, on a fait que ce qui est fort fût juste.
