I have dowloaded my transaction history from my bank as a CSV data with a view to adding it to my own Calc spreadheet

In my spreadsheet, I have one column for CREDITS
and another column for the DEBITS

However the data from the bank is just one long list of amounts with credits being positive and debits being negative.

No problems so far ... I created two new columns, one labelled CREDITS and the other labelled DEBITS and used Calc Formulas to sort the bank data and copy it into these columns.

So now I have three columns, like this:
BANK DATA DEBITS CREDITS
-28.56 $28.56
100 $100.00
-55.23 $55.23

Before copying this into my own spreadsheet, I deleted the BANK DATA column because there is not place for it in my spreadsheet ... and you know that happened! - all data in the DEBITS & CREDITS columns became #Ref becuase the data was not data al all but the result of a formula.

MY QUESTION
Can you convert the out put of a formula to an absolute value, which can be copied and pasted?

Many thanks, James
