What can you tell me about Microsoft Office Live - the new tool from MS
to "streamline" web creation and hosting? Anyone tried it yet? I'm
trying to get as much info as possible before I start my first web page.
I'd like to get it right the first time.... Thanks much.

I cannot open your link as I have cookies for Microsoft disabled.
There are many tools for creating WWW pages and maintaining sites.
Search Google for Web Portal Software.
Our corporation just started using Sharepoint and is already getting
many complaints about not loading properly in any browser but IE7. It
is going to take them months to get this fixed according to the IT
person that I talked to yesterday on the phone.
It is useless to design and build a page that could limit your customers
access to the site. Make sure any software that is used creates
standardized code. I have come across this where I couldn't purchase a
product from a company because their site was IE only.
I have used "Quanta Plus" for a long time and I find that it is quite
good. You do have to know some coding details but for a site it is nice.
Of course you don't mention what level of work you are looking at doing
so it is impossible to recommend a single product to do what you want.
Nor do you mention how much you are willing to spend. I can recommend
many packages that are totally free.
