I forgot to say that I was using the version 2.1 and the update was for the 2.2 version. Now that I tryied to installed the 2.2 version again, I got the 2 errors I pasted and copyoed on the attached file. One is internal error 2908 and the other is error 1935. file format for OpenOffice.org 2.x is OpenDocument (ISO/IEC 26300). ODS = Open Document Spreadsheet, ODT = Open Document Text file. The old OpenOffice.org 1.1.5 (and older) saved by default in its own formats, suchs as sxc for spreadsheets (c stands for Calc) and sxw for text files (w for Writer). And if the original file extension was qpw, what could have changed that to ods? I doubt that OpenOffice.org does that, unless you tell it to, like when using the Save As option. When doing that, however, the old file won't be deleted, so in that case you will still have the old one, if you didn't delete it yourself. Johnny Andersson
