Hey,
Running on an iMac flatscreen G4 800MHz with Mac OS X 10.4.9.
X11 is installed...
% X -version
XFree86 Version 4.3.0 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6600)
And I just attempted to install OOo 2.2.
First time invocation prompted me about loading system and user fonts. I
said yes both times.
But that's all I've got.
Any attempts to load OOo lead to...
1. OOo icon bouncing on the doc
2. X11 icon appears in the doc
3. Xterm appears
4. OOo icon disappears from the doc
5. That's it.
I followed the instructions about setting the X11 preferences to millions of
colors, etc. Still, no dice.
Any suggestions?
