I went to OpenOffice.org. Then I chose downloads and I clicked on the
templates link. I clicked on the confidentiality agreement link ok and then
I clicked on the folder and that's when I got that error message. I tried
it with almost all of the links but could not open them after they were
downloaded. The icons are different than the ones that I am usually able to
download. Usually when I see them I am unable to open the item I
downloaded.

Have no idea where the confidentiality agreement comes from. From the
main OOo website if you select 'get openoffice' green button you get
to the download page.

On the right hand side of that page there is a 'clipart & templates'
link - this will take you to a page from which you can select a
variety of options. If you select templates, you get to the page as
per below:
http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/User/template/index.html

The best way to get these templates is if you right click on the link
then select 'save as'. I believe IE will try to open the OOo template
(if you use left mouse click on the link) which may be the cause of
your error message.

Trust this assists.

Huh ?? Defender doesn't stop spyware (Webroot) ; firewall is only 50%
effective (Zdnet) ; UAC can be turned off and is annoying ; SP1 (incl
security reasons) due end of 2007...
