What I've done, is start Base. Select "Connect to Existing Database", and choose "Thunderbird Address Book" from the drop down. It will ask you where to save the odb file, and then you are set to go. Because you are using the Address Book as the source database, any changes to the Address book are immediately reflected in the database. Once you have it set up, you can use queries to get subsets of the addresses using any criteria you wish. Klaas VisserI have been trying to achieve this for ages under SuSE 10.1. I thought 2.2.0 ('official' version downloaded from OOo) may resolve the issue, but no go :( The wizard appears to complete without any errors and the connection tests out successfully, but no data is displayed. Frustrating, because I have set this up for several Windows users and it works fine. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on a possible cause and/or solution.
As a Windows user, looking to move to a SuSE platform in the near future, I wish I could help - it's a function I use a lot, and would hate to be without.
