Hi,
1) I'm currently running StarOffice 7 on Windows XP. Would installing OOo 2.2 while keeping StarOffice 7 create problems?
2) Although I find OOo to be a competent office suite I regret to say that I am
not enthusiastic about the Danish dictionary. Does anyone know of an
alternative Danish dictionary for OOo?
Thank you for your advice.

Hi Peter,
If you are not enthusiastic about the Danish dictionary, may I suggest
helping to make it better by making suggestions.
Four years ago I wasn't happy there wasn't an Australian English
dictionary so I built one. (In fact I built two, but that is another
story.) These dictionaries are now used by hundreds of thousands of
people across projects such as OpenOffice.org, Firefox, Thunderbird,
Internet Explorer/ieSpell, Opera, SeaMonkey and others.
In theory the dictionaries available with OpenOffice.org can be the
best, because anyone who uses the dictionary can contribute. The
dictionaries are not closed like many commercial projects, so your input
can make a real difference.
May I encourage you to collect the words you think should be added, or
that need to be corrected and contribute them. This is very easy to do
and something anyone can do.
Just something for you to think about.
