I could not find, on the site, where I should direct this message. So please accept my apology if it is in the wrong box.I Googled OpenOffice.org and found an AdWords link at the top and right side of the first results page, selling OpenOffice (2007) for $14.95. The layout, length and colors of this page clearly and loudly shout SCAM! So I just wanted to bring this to your attention, if you are not already aware of it. I'm never the "narc." But I have been a loyal fan and user of OpenOffice for a few years now and don't appreciate someone scamming on all the hard work and programming knowledge that the OpenOffice team puts into a product that you're not even charging for. The URL for this page is at: http://www.openoffice2007.com/1495index.html Thank you all for OpenOffice.org! If I had a penny to my name, I'd gladly donate it. Though, as I don't, I hope you'll accept this message as a show of my gratitude for this much appreciated replacement for Microsofty.
It is not illegal to sell OpenOffice. OOo license allows for people to sell copies of OpenOffice. Morality wise it would be best if people when supplying OOo on media only recouped costs but sometimes people try to make money off it as well. /paul -- Vista is "dramatically more secure than any other operating system released" Bill Gates Huh ??
