System|Administration|Synaptic Package Manager|Search|openoffice

Right click on openoffice.org(x) (openoffice.org-core as an example),
select Properties, then the Installed Files tab. That will tell you
where the files are installed.

No idea what you are talking about... try again, this time with some
explanation & details.

If you don't mind me saying so (I'm sure that you do by now :-) you've
been going round & round with Ubuntu & OOo for quite some time. If you'd
care to drop me a note directly I'll be happy to help (if I can). I have
OOo 2.2 installed on Feisty and Ubuntu OOo 2.2 installed on Dapper &
Feisty. I can compare my installed files on either with your's &
hopefully we'll get you sorted out once and for all :-)
