System|Administration|Synaptic Package Manager|Search|openoffice Right click on openoffice.org(x) (openoffice.org-core as an example), select Properties, then the Installed Files tab. That will tell you where the files are installed. > 2) Where did that symbol font come from and what possessed OOo to think > I would be able to read it? No idea what you are talking about... try again, this time with some explanation & details. If you don't mind me saying so (I'm sure that you do by now :-) you've been going round & round with Ubuntu & OOo for quite some time. If you'd care to drop me a note directly I'll be happy to help (if I can). I have OOo 2.2 installed on Feisty and Ubuntu OOo 2.2 installed on Dapper & Feisty. I can compare my installed files on either with your's & hopefully we'll get you sorted out once and for all :-) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
