All, I have successfully installed X11 and routinely run a multitude of x apps on my Powerbook G4 running 10.4. I downloaded Openoffice 2.2 and when I try to launch it, it appears in the dock for a few seconds and disappears. The first time that I ran it, it asked me about fonts, but I have never gotten any further than that.
All of the support documentation that I have seen is focused on people who don't have X11 installed. Can anyone help me troubleshoot my setup? --b
