To save space on my (Vista) laptop.
(I have the full package on my (Linux - Mandriva 2007) desktop PC.)
However, I now understand that Writer represents around 2/3 of the code of
the whole package, so - bearing in mind other comments (many thanks!) that
Writer may sometimes need other components - I will install the lot...
