Dear Sirs My company have used OpenOffice and its predecessor StarOffice for many years now. We have recently detected a bug in the system when documents are saved as .doc and opened in Word. We seem to be unable to restart the numbering format. Is this a problem generally or can you offer advice on how we can solve this problem. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
Without checking this out with an actual document you can normally restart the numbering by selecting format > bullets and numbering (when the cursor is in the bullets). On the tab 'options' there is the option to set what the numbering should start at...
