Hello, My name is Jackie. Since we hae gotten OpenOffice.org downloaded onto
our computer it has been producing several problems and im not sure how to
handle them. Thursday night i sat on my computer and pulled up OpenOffice.org
to write my report for Social Studies class in school. i sat on the application
for a nearly six hours typing a very important paper. I saved it and exited out
of the program, only to remember i hadn't sent it to a staff memeber at the
school to print it out. When I had saved the document there were six pages...5
with writing the other one being my ocver page for the report. When i pulled it
up about 10 minutes later, there was only 4 pages of writng and i found out
that the prgram had cut out 2 1/2 pages of writing, but it cut it out from
random parts of the paper. i had a paragraph on Global warming, then one on
Acid rain, and then one on what different countries were doing about these two
things. well when i had pulled up my document, the entire
acid rain paragraph was gone, part of the gloabl warming was gone, and then it
cut off the end part of the last paragraph. I don't know what to do about this,
and it made me very upset when it destroyed my work on the OpenOffice.org
document. I would appreciate any help you can give that is possible, and if
there is any way possible to retrieve the entire document then i would be
tremendously grateful. Thank You for your time!
