Hi Roland
To have it printed commercially I need to change from RGB color format to CMYK format, and export to .pdf. Can it be done? If so, how?
Most printers do accept PDFs with RGB, but the colours in your documents may be slightly different when printed. That might be an option for you, depending on what your printer is willing to accept. You've already been offered a lot of advice about saving in CYMK with OpenOffice.org. I hope you get that working. If not, you might like to try Scribus (www.scribus.net). It is an open-source desktop publishing program designed by printing professionsals. Here is a description from the front page of their website: "Scribus is an open-source program that brings award-winning professional page layout to Linux/Unix, MacOS X, OS/2 and Windows desktops with a combination of "press-ready" output and new approaches to page layout. "Underneath the modern and user friendly interface, Scribus supports professional publishing features, such as CMYK color, separations, ICC color management and versatile PDF creation." Hope this helps. Adrian --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
