Neither do I. Do you have a good screen capture program? I think we need to see each and every screen on each and every step to figure this one out. Specifically, these screens 1. What the document looks like just after you click the "New" icon (paper and pen) 2. What the dialog looks like when you attempt to save the file in .odt format 3. The title bar after you have saved it. 3a. Not a screen shot, but now close the file 4. The "open document" dialog box just before you open the file again 5. The title bar again after you have retrieved it.
