What happens for me? The unit is ignored and the number is
interpreted as (my default) centimetres: "5pt" becomes "5.00cm" -
except that 10 cm seems to be the maximum allowed for "Spacing: Above
paragraph", so "12pt" becomes "10.0cm".
I've searched high and low to see what I am doing wrong, but cannot
see anything.
I can't imagine that you're doing anything wrong. All I can think of
is that you are using a slightly older version of OOo (2.02 versus the
2.04 I'm using here), but I thought that feature had been around
longer than that.
