My idea is that you install OpenOffice 3 times on a USB key (or different keys, or once on your hard drive and twice on USB key[s]) but point each one at a hard disk directory of templates etc..

Alternatively, if you can live without the Italian GUI, I *think* you can set up different templates with different default styles for spelling etch. I don't think that can handle dates (mm/dd in US, dd/mm in Italy and GB) decimal points (dot versus comma) and thousand separators so perhaps the first idea is better ...

Yes you have to restart the program but it does free up a lot of space on your disk.
