I've read on your website that OpenOffice.org applications can open and
save documents in MS Office but does it work the other way around?
I'm about to graduate and I don't want to find that a CV or report
produced in OpenOffice can't be read by a prospective employer!!
Just make sure that you save the file in MS Office format. This is a
selection you can make, when you "Save as". You can also configure the
default file type to be MS Office file types.
One thing you can do, is get the Word viewer from the Microsoft site,
which will allow you to view Word documents you create, to see how
they'd look in Word. I believe a similar viewer is available for spread
sheets.
