Hi All My system is Debian Etch 4.0 with xorg 7.1 , xfs and xfs-tt (truetype) windowmaker and openoffice installed form conversterd RPM's...
So far my testing shows that openoffice 2.1.0 recongises most of the Type1, Type3 and TTF fonts provided by the xfs and xfs-tt servers. Openoffice 2.2.0 and 2.2.1 do not. does anyone know how to force/make openoffice 2.2.1 or 2.2.0 to recongise all the system wide fonts provided by the xorg X-windows system the same way that Openoofice 2.1.0 does? Was there a major change in the way fonts are read/used by openoffice suite between versions 2.1.x and 2.2.x?
