http://download.novell.com/SummaryFree.jsp?buildid=ESrjfdE4U58~ I tried the instructions here for debian: http://www.linuxplanet.com/linuxplanet/reviews/6395/4/ on Ubuntu 7.04 w/standard OOo 2.2.1 (no Ubuntu OOo installed on this system), by modifying the copy instructions to point to my install: cp usr/lib/ooo-2.0/program/OdfConverter /opt/openoffice.org2.2/program/ cp usr/lib/ooo-2.0/share/registry/modules/org/openoffice/TypeDetection/Filter/MOOXFilter_cpp.xcu /opt/openoffice.org2.2/share/registry/modules/org/openoffice/TypeDetection/Filter/ cp usr/lib/ooo-2.0/share/registry/modules/org/openoffice/TypeDetection/Types/MOOXTypeDetection.xcu /opt/openoffice.org2.2/share/registry/modules/org/openoffice/TypeDetection/Types/ OOo 2.2.1 now has 'open' and 'save as' filter type for .docx, but whenever I attempt to open a .docx file it tells me that the file is corrupt and therefore cannot be opened & asks to repair the file. If you say yes, it opens a blank document. If you create a document and 'save as' a .docx it saves the file but it appears to be a standard .doc file as I can then open it with another OOo that does not have the converter installed. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
