Nope. Even with JMF installed I can't get OOo 2.2 or 2.3 to play a WAV sound; again it does properly play the sound in the sound selection window (Play test button). I can however get it to work just fine on Ubuntu's (U)OOo 2.2 that uses gstreamer vs JMF.
