Hi Ruben
I'm very interested to use OpenOffice, but checking at your web, I can't find any application for Microsoft Project files. Do you have an application for these files?
OpenOffice.org doesn't have a project manager, but there are several good free and open source applications around. For example, if you are running Linux, the KOffice suite includes a project management application.
Another program (also available for Windows) which is capable of importing and exporting Microsoft Project files is GanntProject
http://ganttproject.biz/ Here is a description from the web site: GanttProject is a free and easy to use Gantt chart based project scheduling and management tool. Our major features include: Task hierarchy and dependencies Gantt chart Resource load chart Generation of PERT chart PDF and HTML reports MS Project import/export WebDAV based groupwork I hope this helps.
