That is an open source free *linux* program that will do what _johnny
Anderson_ was asking about, and more. It will also easily convert PDF to
jpg etc.

As for the OP/John Emerson; the program that he has ("PDF-Convert") will
already convert PDF to jpg, all he needs to do from OOo is export as PDF
and then use the "PDF-Convert" program to convert the PDF to a jpg. He
just needs to read the "PDF-Convert" software directions...
