Thank you Frank. I can assume then that the use of the discard button had
nothing to do with the sounds and backgrounds that I can no longer find. By
the way, this is not a big issue. I probably will not find need of either
of those but just wondering where the heck they went!

While trying different things several times I wanted out and got the

of cancel,discard, or save.
The Discard function will throw away all of the work that you have done
since
the last time you saved your document.
It doesn't change or affect the copy on your hard drive that you made the
last
time you saved your document, so if you want to get rid of that you have
to
delete it yourself as a separate action.
