i am using openoffice 2.2.0 my problem is with the openoffice calc: it
seems that i can't type in any decimal numbers in the spreadsheets. every
time i do that, it either turns to be a date, or some 4digit number. ëx:
4.4 will automatically turn to be a date etc...
i looked in the help and wasn't able to fix the problem.
i know it has to do with format cell, and have tried more than an option,
however failed every time.
plz help, thank you
I can't replicate that behaviour. I'm using winXP and OOo2.2.1 and when I
enter 4.4 into a cell, it stays as 4.4 and the format stays as 'number >
general'.
What OS are you using?
