Hello,
I have a few questions about the writer program:
1. How do I retain "ariel"so that "New Times Roman" does not show
up each time I attempt to prepare a document?
Change the settings for
2. How do I retain "12" as a font"
Unless 12 is some font that I've never heard of, it isn't a font.
Maybe a font size, but not a font name.

No John, sarcasm doesn't help. Please remember this is an international
users mailing list.
Neither does not getting the point in the first place. And I don't
happen to believe that we have to walk on eggshells for beginners.
* Many people asking for help have English as a second language.
On an AOL e-mail? And I thought the poster's English was rather good.
* Many beginners ask questions here.
* Typing proficiency and excellent literacy skills are not a
prerequisite to asking a question.
No, but if they keep asking the question with the wrong terminology,
they will never get what they are looking for. And that has nothing to
do with typing proficiency.
If however you don't understand what the OP is asking you have the right
to ask for more info. But i think in this instince you did grok the
meaning and decided to use sarcasm anyway.
You call it sarcasm, I call it a little bit of humor, but we'll agree to
disagree on this one.
