[users] Getting up and running

Late last week I downloaded OpenOffice.org 2.0 for Mac. I'm running  
OSX 10.4.10 on a new iMac. When I try to open the software, it opens,  
but there is nothing I can do. My menu has "OpenOffic.org", "File" &  
"Edit", but nothing else, and nothing beyond the menu. I do have X11  
(I don't understand what it is, really.)

Any suggestions how to get up and running?
