If you have a slow or limited Internet connection, you can obtain OOo (OpenOffice.org) on CD from one of the suggested distributors listed here: http://distribution.openoffice.org/cdrom There would be a small charge (something around US$10) for the CD. Alternatively, many computer magazines include OOo on their cover CD/DVD. If you choose either of these options, try get the latest version of OOo which is 2.2.1 If you have a friend/relative with a high speed connection, you could ask them to download OOo and burn it onto CD for you. Hope this helps. Dave -- This is a mailing list which exists to support users of OpenOffice.org All answers are given by other users who volunteer their time.
