OpenOffice.org Calc should work exactly the same as your original Excel
spreadsheet.
But you must save it in .xls format, not in .ods format, for Excel to
use the form. (Microsoft is currently having a hissy fit about
supporting international standard .ods format.)
Try saving using File -> Save As and selecting "Microsoft Excel
97/2000/XP (.xls) in the "Save As Type:" window.
